“Agro Business Bukhara” International Forum to be held on 10-11 September

“Agro Business Bukhara” International Forum, organized by the Bukhara Regional Hokimiyat together with the State Committee for Investments, will be held from 10 to 11 September 2018 in Bukhara city.

It is planned to create modern greenhouses, including hydroponics, for the purpose of cultivating competitive products with high added value demanded on foreign markets in accordance with the Resolution of the President of Republic of Uzbekistan No. 3843 "On measures to create a free economic zone Bukhara-Agro” adopted on July 10, 2018. 

Bukhara-Agro free economic zone activities will also be directed to the comprehensive and effective use of the production and resource potential of the Bukhara region, facilitating organization of new jobs on the free economic zone and increasing the incomes of the population.

The organized "Agro Business Bukhara" Forum will allow to demonstration of the investment potential of the Bukhara region for foreign and local investors, with a key focus on the prospects for cooperation offered by the new "Bukhara-Agro" free economic zone.

This, in turn, will allow not only improvement of the economic performance of the region, but will also open wide opportunities for the country in the exchange of experience and knowledge at the international level in the agricultural sector.

It is planned within the program of events to organize an exhibition where the natural, resource, production and labor potential of the Bukhara region will be demonstrated, as well as to organize business meetings in B2B and B2G formats with domestic and foreign investors.

Working teams will be formed who will inform forum participants with investment opportunities of the region and help organize a visit to the region sightseeing.

On the second day of the event it is planned to visit "Bukhara-Agro" free economic zone and to acquaint the forum participants with the opportunities created on this new innovative agro-site.

It is expected that investors from 25 countries of the world will take part in the International Forum.
